Matthew and Lucy Horrocks own and run Edwards Opticians an independent practice that has been taking care of people’s eyes since 1934. A long standing, independent family run practice which carries the ethos of lifetime quality eye care.

Matthew and Lucy were born and raised in Beverley with their families living here still with a personal attachment to Beverley they are passionate about the people living here and in the surrounding areas, anyone is welcome at the practice. Matthew is the head Optometrist playing an integral part in the care of his patients.

Developing and growing the practice is a continuous process to allow the quality of eye care to be ever improving for years to come. Equipment, products and services are of the latest technology enabling Matthew and the team to give the care and advice needed.

Supporting the local community unwanted frames and spectacle lenses are taken in at the practice and distributed to the Lions Club of Beverley and Jacobs Well charity where the spectacles are made use of in countries with limited eye care. The Altzheimers Society and Sight Support of Hull and East Yorkshire are also supported in practice.
